You can go directly into individual firms from this function to get contact information, record their responses and promises, make notes, and set reminders for further follow up.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of trying to remember who needs to be followed up with about an overdue invoice and when \u2014 or writing reminders in a separate calendar \u2014 use MR9\u2019s collection tools including the Collection Follow-up function. Collection Follow-up lists all previous collections actions recorded in MR9 for all clients with overdue invoices within a specified date range.<\/p>\n<h4>You can see at a glance:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Which firms with overdue invoices you have contacted\/taken action on.<\/li>\n<li>What kind of action was taken and when.<\/li>\n<li>Who on your staff should be reminded to follow up with the client and when.<\/li>\n<li>Your designated collector on the account.<\/li>\n<li>Any notes about the action taken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>You can search Collection Follow-up by:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Dates actions were taken<\/li>\n<li>Dates someone in your company was\/will be reminded to take action by the internal notification system<\/li>\n<li>Types of action taken (such as call made or statement sent)<\/li>\n<li>Assigned collector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Listings in the results display the firm name followed by:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Info from the search categories above<\/li>\n<li>Person responsible for following up<\/li>\n<li>Any notes made about the collection attempts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can sort your results in the grid by one or more columns in ascending or descending order (but when you exit the function, MR9 will revert back to the default order). Export the list as an <em>Excel<\/em> spreadsheet or\u00a0a CSV (comma-separated values) file to save, print, share, or use in other applications.<\/p>\n<p>You can click any listed firm to view their collection history and other client information, such as their phone number.
