MR9 Production highlights

Production in MR9 has been rethought from the ground up. It will be easier and faster to use than MR8’s version with a streamlined Turn In workflow, new features, and more options.

Some of the Production module changes to look forward to:

Simplified Turn In

Instead of facing a 4-pane window full of buttons and grids when you prepare orders for invoicing, the new Turn In process starts with the essentials, then reveals additional steps as you progress through the process.

Simplified Turn In means:

• Less errors: You won’t overlook important steps in Turn In due to information overload.
• Quicker turn-in: Less second-guessing the process since you are led through it automatically.
• Easier training: New process is less confusing to understand and master.

New features

In addition to simplifying the Turn In process, we added some new features to improve it even more.

• Customizable services list: You can enter the information in any order that’s convenient. Then you can easily shuffle the order of the services list to change how it will appear on the invoice.
• Set rates easily: In MR9 you assign billing rates to contacts in their listings or as parties to an order. If you want to apply a different billing rate table to an invoice in Turn In, you can select billing rates in a fly-out panel to the side of the invoice — instead of opening additional windows on top of the invoice that obscure the invoice’s details.
• Shipping is a stand-alone function: Shipping is a separate function so you don’t have to go through Turn In if you just want to track a package. It’s also accessible in Turn In with the improvement that it’s at the top of the screen — no need to click into quadrants to find the button.
