ReporterBase.com is becoming ReporterBase.net

Our development team is completing a re-organization chore that will affect anyone who uses the ReporterBase Digital Signature Proxy service, AKA ReporterBase.com.

We are moving the proxy service from ReporterBase.com to ReporterBase.net. While it is a feature used in RB9 allowing you to apply reporters’ signatures to RB-PDF Transcripts, it is actually a completely separate application from RB9. To avoid any confusion we are moving the proxy service to a separate site on March 2, 2026.

How this change affects you

If you use the RB Digital Signature Proxy service, it will work the same. It will just be at a different address.

And for the 3 months after it goes live if you or your reporters go to ReporterBase.com, you will be automatically forwarded to ReporterBase.net. During that transition period, we hope you and your reporters will update any bookmarks or other links you have to ReporterBase.com to the new ReporterBase.net.

Let your reporters know

We plan to send emails to reporters who use the service to alert them of the change. If you also spread the word to your reporters, we think it will help them make the change for themselves before the transition period ends. If they make the change before June, it will eliminate the possibility of them not being able to access the service later and panic calling you for help.
