Answers to 2025’s top RB9 questions
In 2025 the top 2 issues RB users asked OMTI Support for help with were:
- How do I update my payment info in RB9?
- How do I add or remove user licenses from my account?
In case you have those questions too, here are a couple of quick How-To’s:
Update your credit card information in RB9
- In RB9 or RB Lite, visit Setup > System Preferences.
- Click
next to General, then click License Info. - Click Billing at the top of the General – License Info panel.
- In the Billing panel, click Payment Method. The credit card currently used for your RB account appears in the Payment Method panel.
- You can update any information here except Card Number and CVV. If you want to change the credit card used, click New Card and fill in all of the fields.
- Click Save in the Payment Method panel.
- Click Close in the Billing panel.
- Click Close in the General – License Info panel.
Add or remove RB9 user licenses
- In RB9 or RB Lite, visit Setup > System Preferences.
- Click the expand button next to General, then click License Info.
- In the General – License Info panel, click Total Licenses > Change Licenses.
- In the Change License panel, type over the number in New License or click the arrow buttons to increase/decrease the number.
- Click Next.
- If you:
- Decreased the number of licenses: RB9 will display a message stating the pro-rated amount calculated from the next day to the end of the month that will be automatically applied towards the next invoice. Click Confirm.
- Increased the number of licenses: RB9 will display a message stating the pro-rated amount for the current month that will be charged to the credit card on file, which appears in the Payment Method pane. Click Pay.
- If you want to update the credit card or change it, click the hyperlinked Card No. and follow the instructions above for updating your credit card information.
- Click Close in the General – License Info panel.
NOTE: Only inactive licenses can be removed
Active user licenses cannot be removed. If you try to reduce the number of licenses below the number of active users in your system, RB will prompt you to deactivate unnecessary users first. To deactivate a user, go to Setup > Users and Groups and in an individual’s Edit User window, slide Active to No and save your change.
